According to The Encyclopedia of Unusual Sex Practices, by Brenda Love (Barricade Books, 1992):
Seems that Empress Wu Hu, who ruled during the great T'ang Dynasty (700-900 A.D.), created a peculiar sexual custom designed to elevate the female and humble the male. "All governmental officials and visiting dignitaries were obliged by royal decree to pay homage to her Imperial Royal Highness by performing cunnilingus upon her. Old paintings depict the beautiful empress standing and holding her ornate robe open, while a high official, or kuan, is shown kneeling humbly before her and lavishly applying his lips and tongue to her protruding clitoris."

Bondage movie! You're into BSDM (Bondage & Discipline, Dominance & Submission) and chances are, you're fond of whips, chains, harnesses, and tight leather outfits. You like to mix a little pain with a LOT of pleasure, baby!

Why, when it's raining, snowing and generally miserable, do bus drivers wait away from the stop if they are too early? You can see the bus, the bus is empty, the driver is reading the paper, you and the line of people are freezing and soaking wet.
Now I'm sure their argument is that it's just because they can't get to that stop early but.....
Why, when it's sunny and humid and the bus is full of insects and wasps do the same buses and drivers arrive at the stop, let everyone on and then go out for a piss/paper/smoke leaving you and the rest of the people who got on with you to swelter like you are in an insecty sauna?
Rant over
I just heard an advert on the radio which ended with the phrase "now save up to more than 25% off". How many redundancies and/or plain logic errors can you spot in that?
Let's break it down.
now - do we really think they are going to be paying for a radio spot advertising for next summers sale, plus we were already told at the start of the ad that it was this weekend only (although you never heard that bit).
save - this is a pet peeve of mine, by buying something, even if it's reduced, you still aren't saving anything. Almost as bad as get item x free if you buy item y.
up to - means the top, therefore you cannot go over this.
more than - means the bottom, you cannot go lower than this.
25% off - reduced by a quarter - no problem with this as a stand alone statement.
So looking at the ad again you see that this weekend is now and you can make a saving by spending of a top and bottom figure of a quarter off. Now at this point "off" becomes an issue as I don't think you can save 25% off, you can get 25% off or you can save 25% - not both surely.
Anyway rant over - all systems back to normal (plus or minus 5% off).

You'll recognise this group behaviour.
Found this link completely at random, some good discussion going down at Barbelith
Personally, considering wars, terrorism and other general human niceness, I think that people would love to have an emotionally scared opponent.
Current mood: contemplative

Does this make me a bad person? LOL
You are Agent Smith, from "The Matrix." No one would ever want to run into you in a dark alley. Cold as steel, tough as a rock, things are your way or the highway.
